How to Wash Nascarwraps White Vinyl Wraps

Knowing how to wash a Nascarwraps vinyl vehicle wrap will help you avoid damaging the wrap. You can wash vinyl vehicle wraps in a variety of ways.

Washing your vehicle wrap by hand is the best way to avoid any damage. Rinse the vehicle thoroughly with water. This will help to remove any dirt or grit. Wash the car wrap using a non-abrasive, wet detergent, and a clean, soft cloth or sponge. Avoid scrubbing. After the car has been cleaned, thoroughly rinse off the vinyl wrap using clean water. Consider using a silicone squeegee for removing the water from the vinyl wrap and then drying it with a microfiber cloth.

Automatic Car Washing

It is best to use only touchless car washing machines to ensure the best possible care for your vehicle graphics. The use of brushes in car washes can cause the wraps to fade, scratch or lift.

Pressure Washing

Pressure washers are safe to use under certain conditions, even though handwashing vinyl is the best method. You will need the following to use a Nascarwraps vinyl wrap with a pressure wash:

Make sure that the pressure of water is below 2000 psi

Water temperature should not exceed 80 degrees Celsius

Use a spray with a wide-angle spray pattern of 40 degrees.

Keep the nozzle perpendicular to and at least one foot away from the wrap.

Remove Difficult Contaminants From Nascarwraps Vinyl

If your Nascarwraps vinyl wrapping has difficult contaminants such as tree sap or bug splatter stuck to it, you should soak the affected areas in hot soapy water. This will take several minutes. After you've rinsed and dried, if the area still needs cleaning, use a soft towel and spot cleaner. After cleaning the area, wash and rinse all residue off immediately.(3M Vehicle Wraps)
